Hello everybody, welcome to my website. I’m Richard Zatu from Burma/Myanmar. I was an Editor and a Translator. Here are some of my articles in English I wrote while I was one of the editors of the state-run newspapers of the Guardian Daily and the Working People’s Daily from 1983 to 1990 and, afterwards when I became a translator with the Embassy of Malaysia in Yangon.
Also in this page are a large number of my articles in Chin (Hakha) on constitutional issues, elections, economy and Chin orthography. The 2008 Burmese Constitution which is the most difficult constitution in the world to amend was also discussed several times. I contributed articles regularly to the quarterly magazine of Muko from 1996 up to now and another quarterly called Thinthang to which I usually contributed more than one piece in one issue.
